Get a Key for Link Data

Whether you are interested in a free or paid plan we do require valid credit card information to authenticate your account. Please note: The API key sign up process is the same for both free and paid plans.

To get started with the Moz Links API follow these steps:

1. Log into your Moz account - moz.com/users/login

2. Choose a Plan or select Try it free! From the Moz API Plans and Pricing page

3. Enter your payment details (A credit card is required for a free API plan)

4. Set up your API Credentials - Generate your Access ID and API key

5. Monitor your usage

Every API customer receives two important pieces of information: an Access ID and a Secret Key. The Access ID publicly identifies you; the Secret Key is shared only with Moz Links API.

Keep your Secret Key private! You are responsible for all requests made with your secret key, whether you authorized them or not. If you believe your secret key is no longer secret, please regenerate your Secret Key and contact us immediately. To regenerate your Secret Key, return to Get Started and click on "Generate Secret Key."
