Overview of How to See Rankings for Specific Pages

In the main Rankings section of your Campaign, under Tracked Keywords Overview, you’ll see the highest ranking URL for each tracked keyword. This URL can't be manually adjusted as it is pulled directly from search results at the time of the data collection for your Campaign.

The highest ranking URL is noted in the URL column for each tracked keyword.

Here are some simple ways you can check the ranking position of a particular page, for a specific keyword, using the Moz Pro tools.

1. Analyze a Keyword

Within the Analyze a Keyword section of your Rankings, you can enter a tracked keyword and select Keyword Performance from the drop-down to see the top 5 ranking URLs for that keyword on your site. By hovering over the graph, you can see the rank and associated URL for that data collection.

Within Analyze a Keyword you can use Keyword Performance to see the top 5 ranking URLs on your site for a keyword.

From Analyze a Keyword you can scroll down to SERP Analysis where you’ll see the top 50 pages that are ranking for this particular keyword. Pages on your tracked site that are ranking in the top 50 results are indicated by a dark grey circle.

You can see the top 50 URLs in SERP Analysis with any from your site marked in grey.

2. Page Optimization

With the Page Optimization tool within your Campaign, you can create a pairing of a keyword you’re tracking and a URL from your tracked site. We will show you how well optimized that page is for the selected keyword right away. Once the next weekly data collection occurs for your Campaign, we will show you the rank for that pairing. The rank will then update weekly and will be able to be seen in your Page Optimization's Track and Monitor tab. If you enter a keyword you’re not currently tracking we’ll add it to your Campaign and you’ll see rankings data after your Campaign’s next weekly update.

Page Optimization offers the ability to see the rank and optimization score for your page and keyword each week.

Please note: In order to capture the most accurate data, please make sure you enter a URL with the same http or https protocol as the URL that is ranking. This is important to make sure you create the correct pairing. If you are unsure which page URL is ranking for a keyword, you can locate the URL using the Analyze a Keyword tool to or by checking in the organic results to see how your site is ranking. Having trouble with this? Be sure to check out our troubleshooting page.

You can also use the Discover tab in Page Optimization to find other URL/Keyword combinations your site is ranking for which you may want to start tracking.

This Discover tab can help you find more opportunities to track.

3. Rank Checker

With our Rank Checker tool, you can do one-off checks for a specific page and keyword combo. This is separate from your tracked keywords in Campaigns and can help if you're looking to do spot checks on rankings for specific page and keyword combos on your site or your competitor’s site.

Enter a keyword and URL into Rank Checker to do one off checks.

Please note: In order to capture the most accurate data please make sure you enter a URL with the same subdomain and HTTP or HTTPS protocol as the page that is ranking. For example if you create a pairing for the non-www URL but the www URL is ranking, this will skew the data you’re collecting. It is important to make sure you create the correct pairing. If you are unsure which page URL is ranking for a keyword, you can locate the URL using the Analyze a Keyword tool to or by checking in the organic results to see how your site is ranking.

4. Rank Check Feature in Keyword Explorer Lists

Within Keyword Explorer you can create keyword lists to help keep track of your keyword research. Additionally, the Rank Check tool within Keyword Lists can help you do one-off checks for how your site, or a specific page on your site, is ranking for the keywords in your list. Keyword Lists are available with medium level subscriptions or higher.

The rank column in Keyword Lists can help you check is a site is ranking on the first page.

After adding a URL into the Rank column, the Keyword Explorer tool will indicate if that URL is ranking on the first page of the SERP and if so, the rank. If you opt to check rankings for a domain, you can hover over the rank to see the exact URL that is ranking or export the CSV.

Hover to see the exact URL.
